HANOVER – No charges have been filed in a car-pedestrian accident in the north county that resulted in the death of the pedestrian.
Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies say the incident occurred at about 10 p.m. on Saturday night on Route 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover. Investigators say a female pedestrian, identified as 44 year-old Andrea Waterman of Lawtons, NY, was struck by a vehicle driven by Eugene Dodge Jr., of Hamburg, NY.
Waterman was sent to Lake Shore Hospital and then to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, where she died as a result of her injuries.
The Sheriff’s office say it has concluded its investigation into the accident and no charges have been filed.
