JAMESTOWN – A Kennedy man is in the city jail awaiting arraignment after being arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly burglarizing a home on the city’s north side.
Jamestown Police say 28 year-old James Tuttle faces charges of 2nd Degree Burglary, 3rd degree Criminal Mischief, 2nd degree Obstructing Governmental Administration and Possession of Burglar Tools.
Police were called to a report of burglary in progress at a residence at 346 Crossman Street about 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning. Police eventually entered the home with the Jamestown K-9 Unit and K-9 Mitchell located Tuttle allegedly hiding in the basement of the residence.
Tuttle was charged, taken into custody, and was being held in the city jail pending arraignment.
