JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Local Development Corporation board of directors will hold a meeting Tuesday afternoon at City Hall.
Among the business to be taken up is a discussion on the $600,000 fund for downtown programming the city received as part of the $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant in 2016. The JLDC has been assigned the agency responsible for allocating that pool of funding. During a JLDC meeting earlier this year, the board was informed that the city is developing a plan and process for how the funding would be distributed, but it first required review from the state before it could be implemented.
Tuesday’s JLDC meeting begins at 5 p.m. in the Mayor’s Conference Room of City hall and is open to the public.
