One of several pieces of art that will be on display as part of the 2014 JCC Student art exhibit, opening April 24.
JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Community College’s Weeks Gallery will host an opening reception for the annual student art exhibition at 6 p.m. on April 24.
The reception, free and open to the public, will feature performances by JCC music students.
The exhibition features works from all JCC campuses and includes painting, drawing and prints, photography, 2D and 3D works, ceramics, and new media created during the 2013-2014 academic year.
Artistic excellence and gallery awards will be presented during an awards ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The exhibition will be on display until May 8. Gallery hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
