JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown City council will be hold a February work session Monday night at city hall.
Among the items to be discussed is a proposal by Jamestown Community College to sell a 50-acre piece of residential property it owns at 2835 Curtis Street Extension for no less than $300,000. Like with past property sales, the city council – along with the County legislature – is required to review the details of the sale prior to it being allowed to move forward.
The council’s full work session will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the mayor’s conference room of city hall. Prior to the full council meeting, the council’s public safety and finance committees will meet at 7:15 p.m., while the housing committee will meet at 7 p.m. There is no public works committee meeting Monday evening.
All meetings are open to the public and there will be an opportunity for members of the public to speak at the beginning of each committee meeting, as well as at the start of the full work session.
All meetings will take place on the 4th floor of city hall.
