JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Community College will host an event outlining local resources for small business startups from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on June 16 on the Jamestown Campus.
The event, which is also designed to provide networking connections for participants, will be held in the cyber café in the Hamilton Collegiate Center. For more information, call 338.1000, extension 7547, or register at https://www.sunyjcc.edu/startup.
“Many people have a business idea that could really benefit our community, but they don’t know where to start,” said Sarah Bray, an instructor in JCC’s entrepreneurship certificate program. “This event will help them gather information and meet people who can point them in the right direction.”
The event also features presentations from the Small Business Development Center, Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, and JCC’s entrepreneurship certificate program.
