JAMESTOWN – City police have arrested a Jamestown woman for allegedly leaving a young child unattended in a vehicle.
Officers were called to downtown Jamestown in the area of 207 N. Main St. just after 2:30 p.m. for a report of a child that had been left inside a vehicle. Officers located a 3 year-old child asleep inside the vehicle unattended. It was determined that the child had been left alone for approximately 20 minutes. Officers did locate the child’s mother, 22 year-old Sarah Nazzaro, after she was seen exiting a nearby restaurant.
Nazzaro was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and taken into custody.
