JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown woman was arrested late last week and sent to the county jail on Child Endangerment Charges.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, 32 year-old Amber Johnson was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant issued by the Town of Chautauqua Justice Court.
The arrest stems from an investigation conducted by CPS and the Sheriff’s Office, accusing Amber Johnson of engaging in “a course of conduct” with a victim under 10 years of age.
Johnson was taken into custody, arraigned in the Town of Chautauqua Court on charges of Reckless Endangerment, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment 2nd, and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
