Jamestown School Officials, Employees Receive Regional Awards

Jamestown Board President Joe DiMaio, JPS Director of Schools Tina Sandstrom, and Jefferson Middle School ISS Paraprofessional Ginny Lovvorn, were recently honored by the Western New York Educational Service Council’s (WNYESC).

Jamestown Board President Joe DiMaio, JPS Director of Schools Tina Sandstrom, and Jefferson Middle School ISS Paraprofessional Ginny Lovvorn, were recently honored by the Western New York Educational Service Council (WNYESC).

JAMESTOWN – Several officials with Jamestown public school have been recognized for their service to the district.

School Board President Joe DiMaio, Director of Schools Tina Sandstrom, and Jefferson Middle School ISS Paraprofessional Ginny Lovvorn were recently honored by Western New York Educational Service Council.

DiMaio received the Award of Excellence for Board of Education Member. Sandstrom was honored with the Award of Excellence for Administration and Lovvorn received the Award for Excellence for Support Staff Services.

WNYESC is a non-profit educational organization affiliated with SUNY at Buffalo and represents 70 school districts in the eight county WNY region.
