JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Board of Education will hold a 2015-16 Budget Work Session from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Board Room, 197 Martin Road.
The work session will allow the opportunity for Board members to receive more information on budget drivers, how they affect the JPS budget, and to provide feedback to administrators before the first 2015-16 budget draft is presented at a future board meeting.
The public is welcome to attend the Board of Education’s Budget Work Session. The Jamestown Board of Education will also hold its regularly scheduled board meeting at 7 p.m. During the meeting, Superintendent Tim Mains is expected to present more details regarding a proposed Education Foundation, which would assist the district with fundraising for non-essential budgetary spending.
