JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting that a member of the Jamestown Fire Department is no longer working for the city.
The article says that as of Feb. 1, former fire fighter 35-year-old Ryan DiDomenico was no longer a member of the Fire Department.
DiDomenico was involved in a reported domestic incident that took place a year ago at a residence on Alfret Street. He’s accused by a female of holding her down against her will on the floor and also allegedly firing a single round from a handgun into the wall of the residence. The female also claimed DiDomenico prevented her from calling 911 and she had to instead go to a neighbor’s residence to seek help.
DiDomenico was charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal obstruction of breathing and fourth-degree criminal mischief. The case is still ongoing.
