JAMETOWN – Jamestown Public Schools will hold a public hearing Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Board of Education Meeting Room at 197 Martin Road. The intent of the public hearing is to provide information and input on holding school-related programs, which are currently occurring in the district at schools and other facilities, at Rogers School.
Officials say that although the changes proposed do not require a public hearing, the district believes that holding one provides the greatest opportunity for advanced public notice and input.
Currently, the Jamestown Public Schools uses Rogers School for general school use including, administrative, office, storage, and light maintenance.
The school board’s regular August meeting is also scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the school board meeting room.
