JAMESTOWN – City police have arrested four individuals on drug-related charges following a traffic stop that took place early Wednesday afternoon in the city.
Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson says officers conducted a traffic stop at the corner of E. Second and Kipp Streets at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 6. Following a subsequent investigation, officers found that the vehicle had 244 bags of heroin (24 bundles) hidden within its console area and which were slated to be sold on the streets of Jamestown.
Four individuals were arrested as a result. They have been identified as 22 year-old Valerie Davila-Torres, 22 year-old Fermin Rodriguez-Robles, 21 year-old Jose Rodriguez-Robles, and 28 year-old Jamie Rolan-Robles. All four were charged with Cr. Possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, and criminal using drug paraphernalia – as a scale was also located within the vehicle.
Jamestown Police were assisted by the New York State Police K-9 unit.
