JAMESTOWN – Six Jamestown students are facing several charges following a vandalism incident that took place on Memorial Day at the high school.
Jamestown police say an investigation into a reported burglary that occurred at the high school has resulted in 3rd degree burglary charges against six separate students. The investigation revealed that the six students allegedly entered the building in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 26 and caused damage and mischief throughout the building.
All subjects will also be charged with 4th degree criminal mischief and 3rd degree criminal tampering.
The investigation is ongoing and the students will be arraigned at a later date. Police did not release the names of any of the students involved.
