MAYVILLE – A Jamestown man who was arrested a year ago for sexually abusing a child will spend the next 10 years of his life behind bars.
District Attorney David Foley said 31 year old Jason Alexander was sentenced this week in county court to ten years in prison with 20 years post release supervision for two counts of first degree sexual abuse of a child. He was also sentenced to a seven-year concurrent sentence 2nd degree sexual abuse of a child.
In October 2012, Jamestown Police arrested Alexander following an investigation into incidents against a child that reportedly took place over the course of 10 months.
