MAYVILLE – A Jamestown man who was charged for helping to set a fire at a city apartment in April 2015 has been sentenced in Chautauqua County Court.
Acting District Attorney Patrick Swanson says Jimmy Graves was sentenced earlier this month to two to four years in state prison after being convicted of one count of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree.
In April 2015 Graves – along with two other men – were arrested by city police following an investigation into a fire that broke out at 19 Pearl St.
Also sentenced in county court was Eric Barbee on one (1) count of Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree. He will serve two to four years in state prison for his role in a burglary that took place in June 2015, when he also hit the homeowner in the head causing harm.
And Pablo Figueroa of Jamestown was sentenced to four years in state prison after being convicted of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and 5th degree as well as Grand Larceny in the 4th degree.
