HANOVER – A Jamestown man is recovering from injuries he sustained in an accident involving a deer running into the path of his motorcycle.
Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies say 49 year-old Michael Freeman of Jamestown was traveling along Hanover Road in the Town of Hanover just before 9pm Friday when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his motorcycle.
Freeman sustained a serious leg injury in the crash and was flown by Star Flight to Hamot hospital in Erie.
No charges are pending.
