JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown Man has been charged with felony assault of a six month-old baby.
City police say the incident took place Friday at 15 Hedges St. when 20 year old Steven Spencer allegedly shook and hit and the infant with an object while babysitting at the child’s home. Spencer was arraigned Saturday, and is currently being held at Chautauqua County Jail.
The baby is being treated at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and was last listed in critical condition.
