JAMESTOWN – A city man faces charges related to assault and burglary, among others, after being arrested Sunday morning in Jamestown.
Jamestown police say 48 year-old Miguel Rodriguez is accused of breaking into a home at 3 Stearns Ave. and allegedly punching a female victim. He is also accused of leaving the home and slashing the tires on the victim’s car. When asked to stop, he is accused of pointing the knife at the victim and threatening to kill her. Rodriguez then fled the scene, and was located a few blocks away by city police.
Rodriguez was arrested on numerous charges and will be arraigned in city court Monday morning.
