JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man faces charges after he allegedly sold cocaine to under cover police.
Members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force (STRDTF) say 30-year-old Michael Haight of Jamestown was arrested Saturday on an outstanding Jamestown City Court Arrest Warrant. The warrant was issued based on an investigation brought by the STRDTF focusing on alleged cocaine trafficking in the City of Jamestown. Police say Haight allegedly sold quantities of cocaine to undercover agents on numerous occasions in Jamestown.
Haight was arraigned and then sent to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail pending further action by the court.
The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and City of Dunkirk Police Department.
