FALCONER – A Jamestown man has been arrested after he allegedly robbed the Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union on E. Main St. in Falconer Monday morning.
Ellicott police say 22-year-old Kyle Senear reportedly went into the credit union around 9:30 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash and then fled on foot.
It was originally reported that the suspect used a marker to disguise his face, but police say he actually used Vasline and grindings from a tea bag on his face to disguise it.
No weapon was displayed in the incident, but Falconer Central School was placed on temporary lockdown during the manhunt.
Senear was located in Jamestown Monday afternoon and was charged with second degree robbery.
Police say the money was not located and the investigation is continuing. Anyone who may have information is asked to contact the JPD anonymous tip line at 483-8477 or leave an anonymous tip at the Tips 411 App.
