CELORON – A Jamestown man has been arrested for growing more than a hundred marijuana plants in the village of Celoron.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff Office says authorities executed a search warrant at 9 Duquesne St. in the village on Monday, June 20. Once inside officers found what is described as a sophisticated marijuana growing operation containing 104 mature plants. A total of four pounds of marijuana was seized, along with several thousand dollars worth of equipment.
As the result of the investigation 31 year old Joshua Aman was charged with Unlawfully Growing Marihuana and Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd Degree. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court to answer the charges listed.
