JAMESTOWN – A city man is in jail this morning after being involved in a domestic violence incident late Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Washington and W. Seventh Streets.
Jamestown police say 24 year-old Andrew Panebianco is accused of attacking a family member and threatening to kill the person. The incident occurred just before 5:30 p.m. The family member was able to drive away from the scene while being attacked by Panebianco, but drove into the path of an oncoming vehicle traveling north on Washington Street. As a result, the victim was injured in the accident and sent to WCA Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Panebianco was charged with menacing, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief. He was sent to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.
