JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man is one of 32 people from throughout Western New York who was arrested as part of a major drug trafficking investigation.
According to a media release from the state attorney general’s office, the arrests are the culmination of a 13-month investigation known as “Operation Crazy Train.”
Most of the individuals arrested were from the Rochester and Buffalo area. However, authorities say Bryan Moore of Jamestown – who’s age and address was not given – was also one of the individuals charged during the investigation.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and State Police superintendent Joseph D’Amico held a press conference on Thursday, and said the drug network funneled narcotics into Rochester, Buffalo and neighboring communities.
Authorities confiscated nearly $1 million worth of heroin, several hundred thousand dollars worth of cocaine and tens of thousands of dollars in cash.
