JAMESTOWN – The Univera Healthcare Downtown Jamestown Farmers Market will continue again today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each week participating farmers have provided fresh, locally grown strawberries, blueberries, peas, flowers and herbs, fresh-frozen meats, eggs, asparagus, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, and much more. As the season continues, additional produce will be available to purchase. Free parking is also now available. Continuing each week with live music, Cindy Haight returns from 12-1pm today.
Additional musicians are needed throughout the market season and anyone interested in performing is asked to contact Tiffani at 664-2477, ext 226.
Fresh garden products, baked goods and other items will be available at Lucille Ball Memorial Park on Saturday for the first Market in the Park. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., local growers and regional producers will provide products – rain or shine.
