JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown City Council will be holding its monthly voting session tonight in City Hall. Among the items being considered is the approval of a $200,000, 10-year loan from the Jamestown Local Development Corporation for the Ed Shults Chevrolet-Cadillac Car dealership. The money will be used to help the business with a $1,000,000 renovation and expansion project.
Lawmakers will also act on a resolution allowing the Chautauqua County Roller Derby Association to use the Allen Park Ice Rink at a cost of $250 for three more of its upcoming bouts, the first of which will take place this Saturday, June 30.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the city council chambers. A work session begins at 7 p.m. on the 4th floor of city hall in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Both are open to the public.
