JAMESTOWN – The live production of Sunday’s Judgement at Nuremberg radio-style play at Reg Lenna Center for the Arts is presented in partnership with Robert H. Jackson Center, which will also be commemorating the 70th anniversary of the trials with a series of free events beginning at 5pm on Saturday.

The event entitled “The End of the Nuremberg Trial: Looking Forward” will mark both the 15th year anniversary of the Jackson Center and commemorate the 70th anniversary since the Nuremberg Trials were held.

The evening will begin with remarks from Tanja I. Beyer, LL.M, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany.

A rededication of the bronze statue of Justice Jackson, designed by sculptor Dexter Benedict and relocated to the Jackson Center in May 2016, will follow. A bronze portrait bust of Justice Jackson will be dedicated that evening, as well.

After the ceremonies and reception, St. John’s University Law Professor John Q. Barrett – a Robert H. Jackson Center board member and Elizabeth S. Lenna Fellow – will deliver a keynote lecture entitled “The Nuremberg Trial: 70 Years & Forward.”

The public is welcome, registration is required, and donations are suggested. Please register online at www.roberthjackson.org/events or by calling (716)483-6646

The Robert H. Jackson Center is a non-profit dedicated to promoting liberty under law through the examination of the life and work of Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson.
