JAMESTOWN – Irish music group, Caladh Nua, will perform at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts on Sunday, March 8 at 7 p.m. Coming from southern Ireland, the quintet performs traditional Irish music with a contemporary flair.
The group – comprised of Derek Morrissey, Eoin O’Meachair, Paddy Tutty, Lisa Butler and Caoimhin -sing, play banjos, fiddle, guitar, bodhran, tin whistle, button accordion and more instruments.
Caladh Nua (Gaelic for “new or safe port or anchorage”) is beginning their east coast tour in Jamestown and includes stops in Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia.
Tickets for Caladh Nua are $25, $35 and $45 for adults. Children aged 12 years and younger are admitted at half of the ticket price. Select $10 seats are available in the first two rows for patrons aged 13 to 30 years old.
The Reg Lenna Center for The Arts is located at 116 East Third Street in Jamestown, NY. The box office (716.484.7070) is open Tuesdays through Friday from 10am until 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10am until 2 p.m. Online ticket sales are available at reglenna.com.
