MAYVILLE – In an effort to open up additional channels of communication, Chautauqua County Executive Vince Horrigan has announced his intentions to visit several coffee shops and restaurants around the county as part of his 2015 Neighborhood Chats.
The Neighborhood Chats create an informal setting where residents and visitors can sit down with the County Executive and voice their concerns, raise issues they feel need to be addressed, and have their questions answered.
“Last year I visited eight restaurants across the county to sit down and hear first-hand some of the issues and concerns of area residents,” said Horrigan. “I look forward to meeting with my constituents again this year as we talk about the future of Chautauqua County.”
The Neighborhood Chats will run from June through August and are usually held on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday around 8 a.m. Details about upcoming Neighborhood Chats will be released prior to visits.
Restaurant owners who are interested in having the County Executive visit should contact the County Executive’s Office at (716) 753-4211.
