JAMESTOWN – The deadline has been extended for the Catholic Academy of the Holy Family. According to an article in Today’s Jamestown Post-Journal, after consultation with local leadership in Jamestown, the Diocese of Buffalo has agreed to give the only Catholic elementary school in Jamestown additional time to increase enrollment and fundraising to allow for continued operation of the school beyond June.
Dr. Rosemary Henry, superintendent of Catholic Schools for the diocese, commended the local board for setting a goal of having 100 kindergarten through eighth-grade students with paid registrations by May 15.
