On July 1 at about 3 a.m., a group of seven men are accused of invading a home at 188 Falconer Street and assaulted the residents inside the home. When police arrived on the scene to investigate, one of the suspects allegedly fired at the officer. As a result, the officer returned fire and may have possibly hit the individual. However, the alleged shooter, along with two other men, fled out a window and were not apprehended. Police did, however, locate both Jaqwan Martin and Maqwan Martin inside the home that morning. Later that afternoon, two other men allegedly connected to the burglary were spotted and arrested while walking on the railroad tracks in Celoron. And on July 3, two addition individuals allegedly connected to the case were located in Buffalo and arrested. A seventh man, believed to be the one involved in the shootout with officers and who may have been hit, is still on the loose.
