ROCHESTER – An official in local and regional economic development will be leaving for a job in Rochester.
Mark Geise, who serves as Senior Planner for the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation and prior to that was the Deputy Economic Development Director for Chautauqua County, will serve as Monroe County’s new Economic Development Manager.
Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced the appointment on Monday.
Geise’s new position will be the second position in the Monroe County Planning and Development Department. He will work under Jeffrey Adair, who was appointed as the head of the Monroe County Planning and Development Department earlier this year.
