JAMESTOWN – Four people have been arrested on drug charges following an investigation and a pair of raids in Jamestown by local authorities.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, city police and investigators with the New York State Police conducted two raids early Friday morning, resulting in the confiscation of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, related drug paraphernalia and a .32 caliber semi-automatic pistol.
The raids took place shortly after 6 a.m. Friday at three separate apartments in a building located at 14 W. Ninth St. and also at a residence at 616 Lafayette St.
Police say the drugs were found at the Ninth St. location and as a result, three people were arrested. They were 21 year-old John Carlos Tufino, 31 year-old Wilfredo Hernandez Jr. and 20 year-old Ashlyann Lopez – all of Jamestown. All three face drug-related charges. Police also say 22 year-old Bryan Willis of Dunkirk was arrested at the Lafayette St. location and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
