JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police have filed charges against four teens from Frewsburg who allegedly robbed the Hazeltine Avenue Wilson Farms store last month. After an investigation and tips from the public, city police arrested four teens and charged them with second degree robbery. Officers say three of the teens allegedly entered the store, wearing masks and demanding money, while the other two waited in a car a short distance away acting as a lookout.
Police arrested Andrew Whitford and Brandon M. Cantrell, both 18; 19 year old Kyle Elderkin; and a 15 year old who’s name is not being released because of his age. All four are from the Frewsburg area. A fifth teen was already in custody on an unrelated charge at the Chautauqua County Jail. Police expect to eventually charge the fifth person as well.
