Jamestown Fire Department at 71 Allen Street for a fire on May 26, 2024
A firefighter was injured while responding to a house fire on Allen Street Sunday.
Jamestown Fire crews were called to 71 Allen around 10:30 a.m. for smoke in a basement apartment. Fire was found in two different apartments.
All residents and pets were evacuated without injuries. The Red Cross is assisting the seven people who lived in the house. One firefighter was injured
The cause of the fire was carelessly discarded matches.
