ELLICOTT — The County Sheriff’s office has yet to release the name of a town of Ellicott man who died during a Saturday morning fire on Wilson Hollow Road.
Chautauqua County Sheriff Deputies say fire crews were called to 3730 Wilson Hollow Road, located off of Gerry-Levant Rd., around 7:30 a.m. Saturday after a passing motorist reported seeing smoke from the residence.
When firefighters arrived, the home was already fully engulfed in flames. Crews remained on scene throughout the morning.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The cause of death for the male victim is also under investigation. His identity has not yet been released.
