JAMESTOWN – Area residents wanting to offer input on how the city should spend a $10 million economic development grant will have one final opportunity to do so later this week.
On Thursday, Feb. 16, the city will hold the third and final public meeting for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) at the Willow Bay Theater (21 East 3rd St #400, Jamestown 14701).
The meeting will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Jamestown was selected as part of a competitive process by New York State and will receive $10 million in state funding to revitalize its downtown and generate new opportunities for long-term growth and prosperity.
The purpose of the meeting is to share recommendations for DRI funding with the public, gather public input, and celebrate the forthcoming investment to the city’s downtown. The workshop will include a short presentation, followed by an open house.
