FALCONER – The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting this morning that two more local high school football programs will be merging next school year.
According to today’s article, an agreement to merge the varsity and junior varsity football programs of Falconer Central School and Cassadaga Valley Central School has been approved. A low student turnout in the football program at Falconer is what led to the decision. The districts also agreed to combine varsity football cheerleading, boys modified and varsity soccer, and cross country as part of the shared services agreement.
