Grand Teton National Park, Sunset by Thomas Annear
JAMESTOWN – The Roger Tory Peterson Institute (RTPI) will open its newest exhibit – National Parks and Beyond: A Solo Exhibition by Thomas Annear today, with an opening reception on Friday, June 26th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
The exhibit is comprised of more than fifty landscapes painted on location in the national parks and takes viewers on a quintessential American journey—a journey of discovery, wonder, and contemplation that begins and ends with our national parks.
Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Annear has lived and worked as an artist in a variety of places before moving to Fredonia, New York in 2000.
