JAMESTOWN – An Ellington man is in the county jail without bail after being arrested on drug-related charges.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s office says 29 year-old William Bogal of Old Chautauqua Rd. was arrested Monday afternoon on a warrant following an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Bogal has been charged with one count each of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree. Police say Bogal was allegedly selling heroin and other controlled substances to agents of the Drug Task Force from his residence.
After his arrest he was arraigned in the Town of Charlotte Court and sent to the County Jail without bail pending further action of the court.
