Doors Open Jamestown is Saturday, 15 Venues Participating in 2015

doors open 2015JAMESTOWN – Local residents and visitors will have an opportunity to discover all that Jamestown has to offer with the annual Doors Open Jamestown taking place throughout the day Saturday, January 17.

Doors Open Jamestown is an annual event that features various attractions throughout the city providing free access to the public. This year, 15 different organizations are taking part, including The Lucy-Desi Center for Comedy, the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, the Fenton History Center, the Jamestown Audubon Center and Sanctuary, the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, Lucile M. Wright Air Museum, the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts, the Robert H. Jackson Center, the Gateway Train Station, Busti Grist Mill, Infinity Visual & Performing Arts, James Prendergast Library, Jamestown Savings Bank Arena, and the Lucille Ball Little Theater.

Each of the participating venues will also be providing doors prizes and raffles. In addition to the attractions, several area restaurants will also be open and providing specials in conjunction with Doors Open Jamestown.

According to organizers, Doors Open attracts more than a thousand people to the various participating venues.
