DUNKIRK – There may be more victims of the Dunkirk man found guilty earlier this week of kidnapping and sexually abusing a teenager with autism.
Chautauqua County District Attorney Patrick Swanson held a press conference on Wednesday and, according to the Dunkirk Observer, said that given the information collected during the investigation and prosecution of Samuel Saeli, authorities suspect that there are more victims out there.
Saeli was convicted Tuesday of second-degree kidnapping and second-degree kidnapping for sexually motivated purposes. His victim was a 13-year-old autistic boy he abducted from the Fredonia Walmart parking lot in August of 2016. Swanson said Saeli could also face federal charges.
Swanson asked that any potential victims of Saeli contact the Fredonia police at 679-1531 or the FBI at 856-7800.
