MAYVILLE – Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities Director George Spanos has announced the Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day scheduled for Saturday September 13 at the Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities Building on 454 North Work St. in Falconer has been cancelled.
Spanos says the cancellation is due to a change in contractors.
The drop-off events provide an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of hazardous items around their homes for free. Spanos says once his office has the event rescheduled it will inform residents.
