MAYVILLE – When the Chautauqua County Legislature meets tonight in Mayville, it will be acting on a new labor contract for 120 employees who work at the county jail.
The proposed labor agreement for the CSEA 6323 would be retroactive and run from January 1, 2012, through December 31, 2017. The draft agreement includes modifications to health insurance benefits and no increase in wages for 2012 or 2013. However, there is a 2 percent increase for each year from 2014 through 2017.
The legislature will act on the resolution during tonight’s voting session, which begins at 6:30 p.m. in the legislative chambers of the Gerace Office Building. It is open to the public.
