MAYVILLE – A new lease agreement is now in place for companies that use hangar space at the Greater Chautauqua County Jamestown Airport at Robert H. Jackson Field.
According to the Jamestown Post-Journal, the county legislature adopted the new 5-year lease agreement during its January 2015 meeting.
The resolution that was voted on Wednesday night actually covers a lease and several sub-leases with several companies, including Jamestown Aviation Company, Chautauqua Aircraft Sales Inc., and the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency. The total amount the county will receive in the agreements found in the new lease is $4700 a month, with an annual increase of 2 percent each year, during the 5-year term of the lease. The agreement also contains an option to renew for two additional five-year terms under the terms outlined.
