MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Legislature will be holding its monthly voting session Wednesday night in Mayville.
Among the items to be acted on is the appointment of Democrat Chuck Cornell of Jamestown to Legislative district 12. Cornell, who previously served on the legislature, will be replacing Jamestown Democrat Fred Larson, who was appointed last month to serve as the second full time city judge in Jamestown. As a result, he is not longer able to serve as a representative in Mayville.
Wednesday’s meeting begins at 6:30 and is open to the public.
