JAMESTOWN – Motorists in downtown Jamestown will encounter street construction starting Thursday and continuing through the next two weeks.
City Public Works director Jeff Lehman says that paving is scheduled for both the area of West Second Street from Washington to Main Streets and the area of West Third Street from Washington to Main Streets.
There will be driving lane restrictions, parking restrictions and temporary road closures. The project begins Thursday and will continue through Friday, September 19, 2014.
Motorists will experience delays when traveling through this project area and should use alternate routes of travel. As always, motorists should use extra caution while driving through this, and other, construction areas.
