JAMESTOWN – City Development Director Vince DeJoy will lead a discussion on condemned properties in the city when he meets with the Jamestown City Council’s housing committee tonight in City Hall.
The agenda for the housing committee meeting also includes the city’s 2018 Priority Demolition List for vacant and condemned properties, as well as a general discussion from the committee. There will also be an opportunity for members of the public to address the committee at the start of the meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held on the 4th Floor of City Hall in the Police Training Room and is open to the public.
Following the housing committee meeting is the council’s public safety committee meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. Also meeting Monday will be the city council’s finance committee and its public works committee – which both meet at 7:15 p.m.

A recap of each of the committee meetings, along with other city business, will be discussed during the Council’s full work session, taking place at 7:30 p.m. in the Mayor’s Conference Room. That meeting is also open to the public, with an opportunity for individuals or groups to address the council available at the start of the meeting.
