JAMESTOWN – In recognition of the more than 120 victims of the Paris terrorist attacks one week ago, a candlelight vigil will be held Friday evening, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Tracy Plaza in front of Jamestown City Hall.
Jamestown resident Paul Leone is organizing the event, saying it is intended to be multi denominational so residents can offer sympathy and a sense of solidarity with the victims. Several local clergy and community members are expected to attend and offer prayers.
The public is encouraged to bring their own candles.
