JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown woman faces four counts of Child Endangerment after police found a small child alone in the street overnight.
Members of the Jamestown Police Department were called to an area of 40 W. Eight Street around midnight for a report of a child in the street. Officers made contact with the child’s grandmother, who they say fell asleep while watching the child, allowing him to leave the apartment. While in the apartment, officers also found a metal tray containing marijuana, which they claim was easily accessible to three other juveniles in the room.
44-year-old Jody Buck was arrested and charged with four counts of Child Endangerment and possession of marijuana. She was sent to the city jail to await arraignment.
